Engineering and prototype development occurs at the Garland, Texas campus, where the focus is on small volume/large physical size manufacturing. Our wound magnetics technology is the result of a well-established and successful design and development process that results in safe and reliable transformers and inductors. Our engineers combine innovation with a long history of designing custom components and assemblies that are highly efficient, functional, aesthetic, and durable.
We can assist our customers with developing specifications for their projects or design and build to preferred specifications that are already established. Prototypes can be developed with cost-benefit analyses in mind using various materials and different design options. Our engineers ensure optimal performance through exhaustive testing of prototypes at our modern in-house laboratories. If additional testing is needed, Nova contracts with recognized certified laboratories who can provide independent validation of our laser focus on excellent quality and performance.
ISO registered since 1996 and UL listed, our quality controls ensure we use only the best, highest-quality materials and adhere to the highest standards for safety, functionality and reliability.

– and capabilities –
From 50 to 20,000 Hz power transformers with voltage ranges of .1 to 20 KV, to audio transformers with broadband ranging from 5 Hz to 20 KHz and single phase to multiple pulse for low harmonic current generation.
While small volume, larger-sized power transformers, inductors and components are manufactured at the Garland, Texas facilities – in operation since 1981 – our sister company in Lampazos, Mexico – MagFlux Corporation – operating since 1972, enables us to provide high-volume manufacturing at low cost.
To maximize operations and production for our partners, we stockpile raw materials and finished products at our warehouse in Laredo, Texas.
